The monograph systematizes scientific knowledge about the process of non-verbal communication in the context of an urgent practical task - solving the problem of expert analysis and legal assessment of expressive means of social interaction, illustrations of newspaper publications and publicly displayed images, which have become the subject of legal disputes and court proceedings. The presentation of the foundations of the psychology of non-verbal communication and methodological criteria for interpreting the communicative content of non-verbal components of printed texts is accompanied by examples from modern law enforcement practice. A new, promising method of discursive analysis of such components is proposed, which is the result of generalization, rethinking and development of scientific ideas about this important side of social relations.
The publication is addressed to psychologists, lawyers, specialists acting as experts and consultants, journalists, as well as anyone interested in research in the field of communication.
